Music to code by
I love music – most music anyway. But some music is particularly suitable for writing code or other tasks that require concentration. I know some programmers who listen to heavy/speed metal when they work, but I can’t see how they pull this off. For me, nothing is better than ambient techno with a little down-tempo, drone or micro-house thrown in for good measure. I’ve got Monolake’s ‘Interstate’ going right now – ~140 bpm – nice groove!
