Why do you ask?
I noticed earlier today that almost every blues song starts off “Well, …”. This makes sense, because blues songs are essentially stories and starting a sentence with “Well, …” suggests that you are about to tell your tale.
I also noticed that 5 of my last 6 posts on this blog have titles that end with questions (6 of 7 if you count this one). Why is that, I wonder? Is it provocative? Am I trying to elicit a response? Am I answering my own questions?
